Charlotte's Story

Charlotte Dickson and Charlotte Simpson were two young girls who lost their lives to cancer within 3 months of each other.

They weren’t only just both called Charlotte, they were born in February, went to the same primary and senior schools, had a passion for gymnastics, they wore the same colour blue at prom, both loved there families with a passion and a massive lust for life.

Char D was diagnosed on the 11th Jan 2020 with Lung, Liver and stomach cancer.

Then 10days later Charlotte S was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer with extensive spread to the peritoneal cavity and stomach lining.

Char D had just 4 weeks until she passed.

Charlotte S decided to go down the route of chemotherapy but she got progressively sicker and passed on the 22nd May 2020 after 4 months.
