Harrison's Story
Harrison and his family visited the Cotswolds from March 25th.
"Harrison who along with his sister Emily have always been lights in our lives. At the beginning of August 2022 Harrison was diagnosed with a brain tumour, he was thirteen years of age at the time. Harrison was immediately transferred to Alder Hey children's hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain and then embarked on a five month course of intensive Chemotherapy. This awful experience has caused our family to experience immeasurable stress and emotions but as unit we have remained strong and as positive as possible as well as offer support to eachother. Throughout his treatment Harrison has shown unbelievable courage and fortitude and his beautiful smile and personality have always shone through. Harrison showed positive scan results in January of this year and his treatment stopped, the highlight being Harrison ringing the 'end of treatment bell'. Whilst it will take some time for Harrison to return to full health he certainly on his way. This weekend has given us the opportunity as a family to spend quality time together in beautiful surroundings. The caravan is beautifully appointed and located on a lovely site. We have had a marvelous time and want to say a huge thank you. We would also wish all the families who have stayed previously and who will stay in the future all the best of luck and good health xx"
