George's Story

In March 2021 after taking George to see the GP for what we thought was a possible ear infection we were hit with something no parent ever wants to hear.

George our 22-month-old gorgeous boy was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Later that month he underwent a 14 hr operation to remove the tumour and in May 2021 George started what can only be described as a brutal chemotherapy regime which included 5 cycles of induction chemotherapy, 1 cycle of high-dose chemotherapy and 1 stem cell transplant.

In March 2023 George unfortunately relapsed and had to undergo his second lot of brain surgery. In June 2023 he then went on to have 6 weeks of Proton Bean radiotherapy to his whole brain and spine.

Throughout all of this George has been nothing short of amazing! The happiest and most loving boy. We are so proud of him and he continues to amaze us every day.
